The good: Looks nice, small and light. Reasonable screen even in sunlight. OK battery life.
The bad: Absolutely awful reception - phone says 'SOS calls only' far too regularly. Compared to Nokia 3320 and Siemens SK65 which show 3 or 4 bars in the exact same location with the same SIM card Pointless camera - not enough resolution Text entry slow with lock ups, particularly once you've gone past the 1st 'screen' of text (160 characters or so)
Overall: A big mistake of a phone for me. My wife likes hers so maybe I just got a dud, but I've given up on it and gone back to my old Nokia 3320 despite not having Outlook compatibility, colour screen or polyphincs. The T630 has very poor manufacturer response to improvements too. Just after getting the phone I found that phone call times are kept only for 24 hrs - I use the Nokia to claim overtime since I can check what time I made various calls. Sony-Erricsson response was basically too bad, we have no plans to update. Ditto suggestions to add an adjustable time out to the auto key-lock and the ability to changes the time-out for diversion - eg, if phone not answerd for 10, 20 or 30 secs, goto voicemail. Nokia has this built in, Sony expect you to type in a convoluted series of numbers to changes it (dependant upon network provider)
