Teach UR Mum 2 Txt campaign
Parents across the UK will soon be 'textperts' thanks
to a new campaign from O2's charity of choice Milly's
Fund - the charity set up by Milly Dowler's parents to
raise personal safety awareness in children and young
adults.
Launched on 13 October in National Personal Safety
Week, 'Teach UR Mum 2 Txt', supported by
O2, aims to make parents more text savvy for easier
communication with their children - and because texting
is more discreet, it allows parents to stay in touch
in a cool way and eliminate the embarrassment caused
by phoning their children to ask where they are and
what time they'll be home.
Alongside the national launch in the press, regional
texting clinics will take place in UK cities to give
parents and their children further texting tips:

than grammatically
4. Ask your child for one of their friend's mobile numbers
and add it to your phone's address book
5. Turn on reports (if your handset has this facility),
